Iowa Basic Skills Testing 2012

GRACE offers the Complete Iowa Basic Skill Test for students 3rd-12th grade each May at the Home School Building. Testing dates for 2012 are May 21 and 22 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Cost is $55 per student. Students must be present both days of testing. The deadline for signing up and payment is May 1, 2012. There is a limit to the number of students tested, so please sign up soon!

Standardized achievement testing can affirm your child's academic progress and your home schooling efforts.  This objective evaluation can confirm your child's success in academic achievement to friends, family members, and the state, if required. This test covers reading, grammar, math, science, social studies, maps and diagrams, and reference materials. This test, the (ITED) Iowa Test of Educational Development is the only test that most insurance companies recognize for home educators as qualifying them for the "Good Student" auto insurance discount.
