Book: So What's the Difference? by Fritz Ridenour, Regal Books
In an age where plurality rules, it is easy for Christians to take on an indifferent attitude that can develop into the philosophy that “all roads lead to Rome.” It is imperative that as Christians we can defend our faith. That is why we are offering a class that will educate your student in the subtle as well as obvious differences in the prevailing religions of this day in the United States and the world. The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion in the world. We actually have several mosques in Grand Rapids. Hinduism and Buddhism are the popular religions of the movie stars and famous people of today. Judaism in the 20th century is not the same as the Hebrew religion that God instituted in the Exodus. We will study the differences and similarities of each. The study of Christianity will explain the differences in focus of various branches within the Western orthodoxy. Our students need to know what their neighbors believe in order to be strong effective Christian leaders for “such a time as this.”
