A.P. English is an advanced class for the motivated and insightful student who desires to have a deeper understanding of literature and literary discussion. We will study several novels, discuss them in depth (as much as possible with a limited class schedule), and write essays clearly presenting our ideas. The class is meant to prepare the student for college as well as for the Advanced Placement test and to equip the student with a greater understanding and love for literature. This class will be for the seriously committed student and is limited to 8 students. (Taking of the A.P. Examination is not required). This class will not be offered 2011-2012, but will be an every other year class. You may order the book listed from various websites such as Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com, Abebooks.com, and others. A copy fee of $5 is included in the cost of the class.
