This course will cover an introduction and basic concepts for the physical sciences of chemistry, physics, geology, weather, and astronomy.  Students will learn about atomic structure and chemical activity, simple machines and related mechanics, waves, rock and fossil formation, air masses and how they interact to form weather, and a brief look at stars and our solar system.  Homework will consist of reading, research of topics being studied, problem solving, test and quizzes.  Students should plan at least 3 hours for homework, study, and review each week.  You may order this book by calling A Beka at 1-877-223-5226 or check out their website at www.abeka.com.  GRACE does not order these books and the Home School Bookstore does not carry them.  It will be your responsibility to obtain these books from A Beka.
