Prerequisite:  Algebra I

This course builds on the student’s common experience of measuring and of encountering rigid structures. Students will learn deductive reasoning using both formal and informal proofs. Constructions are included throughout the course as well as transformations and coordinate geometry.  A graphing calculator (TI-83 Plus or TI-84) is required for several lessons in class. Class will be held for one hour on Friday and one hour lab time on Tuesday.  You must attend both days.  A $5 copy fee is included in the cost of the class.  GRACE does not order these books and the Home School Bookstore does not carry them.  It will be your responsibility to obtain these books from Pearson Products by calling their toll free number 1-800-848-9500.
