A one-year survey of the Roman language, history and culture. Grammar and vocabulary is introduced and practiced at a slow pace; much class time and homework focuses on history and culture, both of the Romans and of the early Christian church. High school students planning to take Latin for several years should consider taking Latin I instead. A $20 copy fee is included in the cost of the class.
