A one-year survey of the Roman language, history and culture.  Grammar and vocabulary is introduced and practiced at a slow pace; much class time and homework focuses on history and culture, both of the Romans and of the early Christian church.  High school students planning to take Latin for several years should consider taking Latin I instead.  A $20 copy fee is included in the cost of the class.

Latin I - (Grades 10-12 - 8th & 9th grad only if prerequisite is met) =

Sequel to last year's Introduction to Latin course.  Continuation of the study of Latin vocabulary, grammar and culture.  You may order these books through Cambridge University Press by calling 1-800-872-7423 ext. 4558 or www.cambridge.org.  GRACE does not order these books and the Home School Bookstore does not carry them.  It will be your responsibility to obtain these books from Cambridge.
