This class will offer students in grades 5-8 the opportunity to learn the necessary skills required in public speaking.  Basic speech mechanics, various speech types, the gathering of information, and learning how to use a variety of speech formats are examples of some of the skills that will be covered in this course.  Students will have plenty of opportunities to give speech presentations in front of small audiences.  The skills learned in this course will benefit anyone who seeks to glorify God through speech.

This class will offer students in grades 9-12 the opportunity to learn the necessary skills required in public speaking.  Basic speech mechanics, various speech types, the gathering of information, and learning how to use a variety of speech formats are examples of some of the skills that will be covered in this course.  Students will have plenty of opportunities to give speech presentations in front of a small audience.  The skills learned in this course will be a benefit to anyone who seeks to glorify God through speech.  In addition, high school students will be given opportunities to participate in an oratory contest and other public speaking settings outside of the classroom.
