Science and Lab Credit
Prerequisite: To be successful in this course, students should have a foundational knowledge of pre-algebra math skills, as well as a basic understanding of the scientific method, and lab skills. Students must have the maturity for self-directed learning at home throughout the week. Students are expected to come to Thursday’s class prepared for the lab experiment.

 

This class lays a firm foundation for future studies in Chemistry and Physics and is highly recommended before students move on to the upper-level high school courses. Students will take the lab and research skills learned from earlier science courses and expand on them in this lab-based course. These are skills developed in the Earth Science course, which is recommended before taking Physical Science.

There is a $30 material fee included in the cost of this class.
